- RAINLESS RAINBOW
-
- DID YOU KNOW:
- -- You can see a rainbow in the sky only when rain is falling on one side of you, and the sun is shining at the same time on the other side of you.
- -- White light is actually a mixture of all colors.
- -- Rainbows are seen as half-circles because the Earth is round.
- -- From an airplane, rainbows can sometimes be seen as full circles.
- -- Sometimes a second rainbow forms that is fainter and outside and above the primary rainbow. Its colors are in reverse order.
- -- Honolulu, Hawaii, is noted for how often you can see rainbows there.
