- RAINLESS RAINBOW
-
- YOU'LL NEED:
- One 1-quart heavy-duty sealable plastic bag
- Spoon
- Rainbow goop
- Masking tape
-
- What you'll need for the rainbow goop:
-
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 package of unflavored gelatin
- 3 custard cups or bowls
- And red, yellow, and blue food coloring
-
- STEP 1
- First make the rainbow goop:
-
- In a small saucepan stir together the water and gelatin. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes to soften the gelatin.
-
- Then cook and stir over low heat about 3 minutes or until the gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat.
-
- Divide the mixture evenly among the 3 custard cups (about 1/4 cup each).
-
- Add 3 to 5 drops of red food coloring to 1 of the custard cups. Mix well.
-
- Repeat with the remaining gelatin with yellow and blue food coloring.
-
- Chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes or until partially set, stirring mixture during chilling.
-
-
- STEP 2
- Open the plastic bag. Use a spoon to put all 3 colors of the rainbow goop inside the plastic bag.
-
- STEP 3
- Close the bag. Now open it just a little and push out all the air. Then close the bag again.
-
- Seal the top with masking tape.
-
- Now squeeze the bag to mix the colors into a beautiful rainbow.
-
- And that's how to make a rainless rainbow!
