  1. HALLOWEEN SNACKS

  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Table knife
  5. Peanut butter or soft-style cream cheese
  6. Saltine or graham crackers
  7. Rich round or wheat crackers
  8. Banana slices
  9. Raisins or cereal
  10.  
  11. STEP 1
  12. For the owl's head, carefully use a table knife to spread the peanut butter onto the cracker.

  14. STEP 2
  15. Then make the owl's eyes. Begin by placing 2 smaller crackers and 2 banana slices on top of the cracker.

  17. Next add 2 spoonfuls of cream cheese and top with 2 raisins.

  20. To make the owl's beak, use half of a banana slice.

  22. For eyebrows use cereal. Use your imagination! What other creatures can you create using crackers, peanut butter, bananas, and raisins?

  27. SOME COOL IDEAS:
  28. Pinecone owls come out at any time of day. These friendly fellows are easy for your children to create, but make sure children don't eat them. They need only 3 things: cotton balls, a pinecone, and pipe cleaners. Follow these steps:

  30. Step 1: Slightly unravel the cotton balls.
  31.  
  32. Step 2: Gently brush the piece of cotton over the pinecone so it sticks to the cone. This should give the pinecone a soft, feathery appearance. Bend the pipe cleaners to form the owl's two eyes and two ears. Attach the pipe cleaners by inserting the pipe cleaner eyes and ears through the pinecone.
