The second theme is variegated too, but with less changes than in the first theme. The first change which can be noticed are the arpeggio figures played by the violas. In the original version they were triplets, whereas here, Beethoven wrote quadruplets, which are shorter and faster.
Here too, the orchestration has not changed.
