  10. The cadence, at the end of the woodwind's extension, may have given us the feeling that the melody has concluded.  But, it hasn't yet.  Beethoven gives the violins the opportunity to repeat this extension, and elaborate it even more.

  12. The clarinet and bassoon join the violins at the end of this passage.  And, again, the "Fate Motive" is clearly heard in the last two bars.
