  7.  [WARNING:] This program does not
  8. return to LOADSTAR. And for some
  9. mystical reason, the "Does Not Return"
  10. boot does not work with Jak's code.
  11. And strangest of all, it doesn't seem
  12. to want to LOAD and RUN from the
  13. Presenter on my [real] C-64. If that
  14. happens to you, reset the machine and
  15. LOAD and RUN "b.s4snakes".

  18.     Jak T Rip, aka Jakob Voos, and
  19. Protovision are making quite a name
  20. for themselves -- especially in the
  21. Euro C= community. Jak lives in
  22. Germany, and his programming/product
  23. company has developed some exciting
  24. new pieces of software.
  25.  
  26.     They have also come up with [two]
  27. extra joystick sockets for the C-64.
  28. The hardware plugs into the left
  29. user's port on the back of the machine
  30. and has two male D-9 plugs, ready for
  31. standard C= joysticks.

  33.     To take advantage of their
  34. improvement, Protovision has published
  35. Bomb Mania (on LS 202), Pac It (on LS
  36. 206), and other games for up to four
  37. players.

  39.     And here is a freeware game for
  40. two to four players -- Snacks 4
  41. Snakes. The object is simple. Just
  42. control your Snake to gobble up Snacks
  43. while not hitting the wall or a snake.
  44. The game really requires a minimum of
  45. two players.

  47.     LOADSTAR is still trying to work
  48. out how to get money from here to
  49. Protovision in Germany. When we do, we
  50. will let you know -- and offer
  51. Joysticks 3 & 4 for your C-64.
