Questions and Answers -- Part 1
From: Reel, Manassas VA
I have a Commodore 128 and I have
just purchased "Word Writer" from
Timeworks and I have a problem with
the letter 'Q'.
When the CAPS LOCK is down, I still
get a lower case 'q'. All the other
letters are ok. Is this a hardware
problem or software. Is there
anything I can do about this?
I have checked other Commodore 128
computers and they do the same thing.

On Loadstar #17, DOGFIGHT does not
seem to work. The crosshair of the
gun does not move. Is there a
problem?

>worked perfectly. Happy shooting!!

I am having a problem copying files
from Loadstar #19. I tried copying
the ONE program so I could modify it.
I have several copy programs to copy
a disk, however I don't need the
whole disk. I tried using a copy
program for a dual drive to copy
single files and it will only copy
53-55 of the 62 blocks of ONE
and only a few of the ENTERTAINER.
It will load the other programs for
the game ONE ok, but not the main
program.
>The only suggestion we can come up
>with is that your file copier,
>cannot handle files as large as ONE
>or ENTERTAINER. We suggest using
>EASYCOPY from Loadstar #16.

I have need for several new
programs. If you have any information
on these I would appreciate receiving
it.
I need a program that permits you
to delete more than one line of a
program at a time and also allows you
to re-number a program.
>The program you are looking for is
>called TINY AID. It was adapted for
>the C-64 by David Hook from TINY AID
>by Jim Butterfield and BASIC AID from
>Bill Seiler.
Do you know of a merging program
which will merge sections of other
programs into another program?
>ML MERGE which appeared on Issue #16
>of Loadstar allows this.
How about a program for Commodore
64 similar to Apple II's EXEC?
>We hope to publish an EXECer in the
>near future. Be watching for it.
