3 Babe I have some good news, %r. We have developed a
more powerful PPC. It can fire a Plasma bolt in the 80 watt
range. We did this by coupling two 40 watt PPC through a
phased link inverter. This basically compressed the twin
streams into one plasma bolt. It should be able to punch
through just about anything out there. Be careful though,
it eats up a lot of heat. You'll get maybe 8 shots out of
it before your heat reserves are depleted, so watch your
fusion core heat indicator. The next item we have for you
is a Tomahawk Type II Fusion Scatter grenade. There are
four grenades to a pack. This grenade upon impact fires off
8 grenadlettes. Each grenadlette isn't as powerful as a
regular fusion grenade, but two or three hitting a target
should take it out, or at least weaken it enough for you to
go to guns. They cover a larger area, detonating upon
impact. This weapon is very useful in clearing large groups
of enemies. You can target this grenade much like the Type
I Fusion grenade, or you can tap your fire trigger and
release the grenadlettes in a ring around you to destroy
any enemy units closing upon your position. A note of
caution, don't use this aspect of the Type II grenade while
standing next to a wall. The grenadlettes will bounce back
on your position! We have also upgraded your normal fusion
grenade ordnance capacity to four grenades per pack, so you
should be able to stay in the fight a little longer. We
have also developed a missile system that carries a fusion
warhead, codenamed 'Raven'. This means that this missile's
target area is a proximity blast. It's capable of taking
out targets close to one another. Just paint a target like
you do normally but wait until it goes near other enemies.
Fire the Raven into that group and boom! Just hunks of junk
left. Finally we were concerned with the length of time it
takes for the A.C.E to perform it field diagnotics and
repair routines. We have developed an upgrade to the
diagnostic A.I. routine. This should make your armor
perform repairs twice as fast. The device is a called a
'Comp/Tech', short for Computer/Technical, and you should
find it in the defensive ordnance selection. Just make sure
its activated before you perform any repairs and it should
do its job. Good luck out there, %r %n.
Remember the Tech staff's creed, "Success through superior
firepower".
