Chopper Duel is something you have been waiting for the last two months...
And here it is! The ultimate two-player air combat game! With a friend, you
will have several sleepless nights with Chopper Duel!

Usage ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Execute CHOPDUEL.EXE :)
Choose your sound hardware. If you don't have a sound card, it is
recommended you choose no sound instead of the beeper. You can try the
beeper but the quality is very poor.
If you select a sound output, next you have to choose the replay rate. On a
386 12 KHz is fine, on a 486 22KHz can be happily chosen :)
Main menu ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
F1 Start game This starts the ferocius battle between you and your
trusted friend.
F2 Player 1 controls Change player 1 (green chopper, left) controls.
F3 Player 2 controls Change player 2 (red chopper, right) controls.
F4 Battle field Change the current battle field (total 50)
F5 Help & Credits Shows you a really brief help and the full credits
(no, I didn't code the mod player..)
F10 Exit to dos After 300 games you need to take a little break.

If the fight gets too tough, ESC brings you back to the main menu.
Bullets raving on the screen ────────────────────────────────────────────────
To prevent you from being the human autofire, only 8 bullets/player can be
on the screen at the same time.
Collisions ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Player - Player If one or each of the players exceed the maximum
collision velocity (MCV), the result is a death.
Player - Ground If you exceed the MCV you will explode. Collisions less
than MCV will cause the chopper to bounce back. The MCV
is about the speed the chopper reaches in a free fall
from a height of three blocks, starting from zero
velocity.
Bullet - Player KAPOW!
Bullet - Ground The bullet vanishes and you can fire again.
Fuel ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
No, choppers do not run with oxygen or ozone. The fuel is decreased all the
time and you have to refuel every now and then. Refuelling is initiated by
landing slowly on the landing zone (you'll know what's a LZ when you see
one ;). The fuel bar increases rapidly, and when you're full, off to the
battle it is!
If you run out of fuel, you - imaginatively - explode.
Who's the winner ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
The winner is the one who first scores a total of ten drops. The drops are
increased every time the opponent explodes.
If both players have scored 9 hits and they blow up the same time (yes, it
IS possible), the game will end up with a draw.
Notes and technical information ─────────────────────────────────────────────
The player MAY bug if the joystick control is enabled on a slow machine.
I was too bored to include some of the data in the EXE file ;) Just to
prevent you from modifying the files, the program checks the files for a CRC
and if it is not correct, you won't be able to execute the program ;)
The game is coded TOTALLY in Turbo Pascal 6.0 except the sprite routines
(Only a simple MOVSB routine) and the player, which is made by Mark J. Cox.
