- MUSIC WORKS VERSION 2.1A
- 30 Apr 1996
-
- Some of the small additions and modifications to Music Works since Release 2.1
- are detailed below.
-
-
- Additions
-
- Using square braces it is now possible to brace different numbers of staves
- rather than just 2. A single stave can also be braced.
-
- Double dotted notes are fully supported.
-
- Double sharps and flats are now supported.
-
- Sharps and flats can be offset from their normal position by double clicking
- on them. A dialog box will be displayed to allow their positions to be
- changed.
-
- Patch caching support has been provided for sound cards that use or support
- patch caching. This is handled automatically.
-
-
- Modifications
-
- The default song has been changed to use a square brace. This allows the
- revised bracing to be used by default.
-
- The dot of dotted notes sometimes plotted on the line. This has been corrected.
-
- The default width setting used when copying pages to the clipboard has been
- changed to a more correct value.
-
- The default offset of sharps, flats and naturals has been changed when the
- head of the note is flipped to stop the accidental being overplotted by other
- notes.
-
- A problem that could occasionally cause a GPF when another application
- was selected and Music Works then selected while the zoom tool was active in
- Music Works has been corrected.
-
- Problems associated with copying or moving notes between tracks and/or staves
- have been corrected.
-
- Ties, slurs etc were not selected when a stave was selected. This has been
- changed.
-
- Music Works could cause a GPF on startup if the ini file was missing. This
- has been corrected.
-
- In some cases the patch list could be read incorrectly. This has been
- corrected.
-
- Various incorrect prompts associated with tying and slurring notes have been
- corrected.
