  2. NCR Microelectronic Products Division is providing the enclosed SCSI 
  3. Device Management System (SDMS) 3.0 drivers electronically for your 
  4. convenience.  However, this does not imply technical support on the 
  5. part of NCR should any problems arise during the use or operation of 
  6. these drivers.  For the following reasons, NCR highly recommends that 
  7. you contact either the place where you purchased your system or the 
  8. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of your system motherboard for 
  9. technical issues pertaining to SDMS:
  10.  
  11.     * NCR works with its OEM customers to correct any anomalies 
  12.     that may occur within the complex interaction of the operating 
  13.     system, driver, BIOS and hardware.  Your OEM is most aware of 
  14.     these interactions and would be the one most capable of 
  15.     diagnosing a problem and, if necessary, working with NCR to 
  16.     correct it.  It is the experience of NCR that what appears to be 
  17.     a SCSI problem often is not and is indeed a system or software 
  18.     installation problem.

  20.     * By contacting the OEM for support, you will be assured of 
  21.     receiving the latest SDMS BIOS and drivers that have been 
  22.     verified, certified, and licensed by your OEM on that OEM's
  23.     hardware platform.
