The Video Recorder Timer function in DigiTV operates much like the Video Timer you would find in most modern home video
recorders, so hopefully it will seem familiar.

You can programme in up to 50 timers to record different TV/Radio Programmes, although you should make sure that the times do
not overlap otherwise you may get only a portion of one of the programmes you wanted recorded.

You may set the timer using either the Remote Control, or the Mouse:

Using the Remote Control

Display the overlay by hitting the Menu button and selecting the PVR and Event List option.

All of the timers are displayed in chronological order with the most recent at the top.

The list in the bottom half of the screen shows all of the timers that you have currently set. You can set a new one by selecting the New Timer button, or modify an
existing timer by clicking the i button next to the timer name. Either action will produce a display similar to that below:

To change the recorded channel or the start/stop times, select the relevent button next to the entry you want to change.

When you are happy that all the details are correct, select the Set Timer button or Cancel to discard the changes.

Note: The Video Timer uses the PC's own internal clock to determine when to start and stop recording, so either make sure that your clock is set correctly or
alternatively, let DigiTV set your clock for you - see Set PC Clock from TV.

Using the Mouse

To set timers using the mouse, you can either use the method above or use the specialised windows detailed under Electronic Programme Guide (EPG).

Using the Windows method gives you much greater control over how your timers are recorded compared to when using the above method, but you do need to be sitting at the PC!
