  4.    The customer entry portion of the display on the
  5.    upper left can be activated by selecting the proper
  6.    task under the CUSTOMER section of the Edit menu
  7.    at the top of the screen, pressing the buttons on
  8.    the bottom of the screen, or using the [F2]/[F3]
  9.    buttons.

  12.    When NEW is selected, the fields are cleared and 
  13.    made active. The  function of entering customer 
  14.    information will primarily be a task done at the
  15.    point of sale. It is recommended that the caps
  16.    lock key on the keyboard be used to enter all
  17.    upper  case information to make the data entry
  18.    faster and  more uniform.

  20.    The PHONE NUMBER fields will  automatically 
  21.    format if you only type the numbers with no
  22.    spaces or dashes. A seven digit phone number 
  23.    will format as 123-1234 and a ten digit number
  24.    will format as (123)123-1234.

  26.    The list of state abbreviations can be found
  27.    in the drop-list by the DRIVERS LICENSE field.
  28.    By default, it will display your company's state.

  30.    The credit card names you will accept can be
  31.    entered using the CREDIT CARDS entry panel
  32.    found  under the Edit menu at the top of the
  33.    screen. Place the name of each card on a 
  34.    separate line.
