  3. As the sysop of a BBS, surely have noticed that users almost NEVER
  4. bother reading welcome/news bulletins.  As soon as the little 
  5. "More y/n/=" prompt appears they skip the entire bulletin and as a
  6. sysop you have wasted your time posting the bulletin and the user
  7. misses out on some important information.  After a little research
  8. into why users never read bulletins I discovered that they usually
  9. only want to read it once, and that they get accustomed to just
  10. aborting them.  NewsFlash will attempt to overcome this problem.
  11. What NewsFlash does is only force the user to read the bulletin once.
  12. Since they only have to read it once, user's will tend to stop and
  13. read the bulletin carefully.
