  1. `bright cyan`Front Office Help
  2.         The front office is where much of your job as owner and general
  3.         manager takes place.  Here you control all the aspects of your team
  4.         that are not on the basketball court.
  5.  
  6. `bright cyan`Upgrade Stadium
  7.         To make money, you'll want to make sure you can have as many fans
  8.         watch your games as possible.  For that reason, you can upgrade
  9.         your stadium from time to time.  Every player begins with a Blacktop
  10.         Court (similar to a playground court) that seats 250 spectators.
  11.         From there you can upgrade up to a Megadome which seats 250,000
  12.         people (a lot of cash).

  14. `bright cyan`Upgrade Concession Stands
  15.         Concession Stands are another revenue generating vehicle.  People
  16.         who come to the game have to eat, and this is where your food booths
  17.         come in to play.  You will make money on your concession stands
  18.         relative to #1 how many fans you have at the game and #2 the level
  19.         of concessions you have at the arena.  Concession stands are
  20.         cumulative.  When you buy the second level concession stand, you
  21.         still have the first level, as well, even though you don't actually
  22.         see that attribute listed.  In addition, if you skip a level...
  23.         going from nothing to a Zip Zap Cola Oasis, you do receive the 
  24.         Sticky Finger's Candy Hut as well.

  26. `bright cyan`Schedule a Promotion
  27.         Promotions are giveaway's that encourage fans to come to games.  
  28.         Many professional teams throw special nights such as key chain
  29.         giveaway night to boost attendance.  You, too, can schedule a 
  30.         promotion.  Promotions only apply to the next home game, and cannot
  31.         be upgraded once you purchase it.  A list of promotions follows in
  32.         in this file.

  34. `bright cyan`Buy Advertising
  35.         You have to let the masses know that you're out there, and there is
  36.         no better way than by advertising.  Advertising will boost attend-
  37.         ance, increase sale of merchandise and have a lasting effect in the
  38.         minds of consumers.  Each day you can buy advertising for that day
  39.         only.  Advertising boosts your fame.

  41. `bright cyan`License Team Merchandise
  42.         You, with a little cash, can start selling t-shirts, hats, coats,
  43.         and more to your adoring fans.  Merchandise will bring in more
  44.         revenue, however, there are production costs, too.

  46. `bright cyan`Change Ticket Price
  47.         As you become more and more popular, you'll be able to raise ticket
  48.         prices and still attract fans.  Be wary though, the people are not
  49.         stupid, and can see when they're being fleeced.

  52.         If you wish, you can relocate your team to a new city, but beware
  53.         it costs money to move.

  55. `bright cyan`Change Team Nickname
  56.         You can also change your team nickname, however, again it will cost
  57.         money, and you will more than likely lose some of the reputation you
  58.         have worked hard to build up.

  60. `bright cyan`Move into a New Arena
  61.         Not to be confused with upgrading your arena, this is a move across
  62.         town to an equivalent, but different location.

  65.         The bank is a place to store your cash.  Here you earn between 3 - 10
  66.         percent interest per night.

  69.         This will give you the instructions menu.

  74. `bright red`Choosing the Right Ticket Price:
  75.         Ticket prices are very important.  The best possible price depends
  76.         on most of the front office factors in some way.  In addition the
  77.         team you are playing against also has a profound effect on tickets.
  78.         They will have an effect on both the price you can charge, and the
  79.         number of people you'll get.  The best possible ticket price
  80.         changes on a day to day basis.

  82.         Don't be discouraged if you don't sell out your arena, just keep
  83.         increasing the level of items, scheduling promotions, and buying
  84.         advertising, believe me, you will.

  86.         The lack of a crowd may also be due to your opponent.  Poor teams
  87.         don't draw as big a crowd.  Try other things to get people to those
  88.         games.  Remember, if you're playing a bad team, you might have an
  89.         easy win, but you won't make as much money.

  91. `bright red`Boosting Attendance
  92.         Attendance depends on your fame, wins, promotions, opponents wins,
  93.         opponents fame, ticket prices and other office items.  When you
  94.         first start an FBB season, purchase advertising, and lower your
  95.         ticket prices to get people come to the games.  As you gain fame
  96.         and wins, you can increase your ticket prices to get more money.

  102.         Each person entering the stadium will be given the opportunity to
  103.         purchase and authentic team basketball for just one dollar.  The

  107.         The beloved mascot of the San Francisco Foul baseball team will be
  108.         in attendance at this home game to thrill and delight the crowd.

  111.         Each fan attending the game will be presented with a coupon good
  112.         for one free car wash at Dirty Daze Car Wash.

  115.         Five lucky fans will receive a sparkling diamond bracelet, courtesy
  116.         of Diamond Dave's Jewelry and your team.

  119.         Following each major decision in the basketball game, the crowd will
  120.         decide the future of your coach.  A boo means goodbye, and a yeah
  121.         is a vote of approval.

  124.         Fans go to arbitration to decide the fate of their ticket price.
  125.         Victory for them means the poor house for you, and vise versa.

  128.         Free Beer!!!  At various times during the game, free beer is
  129.         announced.  Then sit back and watch the craziness.

  137.         fan will win an amount of money equal to that paycheck.
