-
- Makes changes to either of {COMMO}'s two sets of Terminal Parameters: DEFAULT
- or CURRENT. Both sets are initialized to the parameters you specify in the
- Setup File. The five parameters are:
-
- Speed (bps) Allowable speeds are hardware dependent, but usually range up
- to 115200. Note that modems require you to use certain
- speeds. Consult your modem documentation for details.
-
- Format (fmt) Most common settings are 8n1 and 7e1. The host will require a
- specific format.
-
- Port (por) Serial port: 1=COM1, 2=COM2, etc.
-
- Term (emu) Emulation type: A=ANSI-BBS, V=VT102, T=TTy. The host will
- require a specific emulation.
-
- Delay (icd) The Inter-character Delay may be used to insert a short time
- delay between characters when sending to a slow host.
-
- When you dial a number from the Dialing Directory, {COMMO} will first change
- the current settings to the default settings, then change the settings again
- if you specify any parameters in the Dialing Directory parameters field.
-
- The current settings are always shown on the left side of the Status Line.
