  37. This command deletes the windows given by the
  38. .VS
  39. \fIwindow\fR arguments, plus all of their descendants.
  40. .VE
  41. If a \fIwindow\fR ``.'' is deleted then the entire application
  42. will be destroyed.
  43. The \fIwindow\fRs are destroyed in order, and if an error occurs
  44. in destroying a window the command aborts without destroying the
  45. remaining windows.
