The screen is split into three different windows, which move synchronously. The passage of time (in minutes) since the earthquake is displayed on the counter to the far right. The lower-left window shows a 3-D view of the Earth. The lower-right window is a cross- sectional view of the Earth, with the earthquake at the top. The upper window will show seismograms developing as the earthquake waves arrive at three different seismic stations whose positions are shown on the other two windows.
