-
- software from version 1.30.A.E.
-
-
-
- You will need the following files:

-
-
- filename size
-
- --------------------
-

-
- SED2.EXE 1122940

- These files are self-extracting archives. The files will extract into
-
- subdirectories DISK1, DISK2, DISK3, DISK4, and DISK5 on your hard disk.
-
-
-
- To download the files, you will need 10 Megabytes of hard disk space
-
- (5 MB to download and 5 MB to perform the extraction).
-
- You can delete the archive files (SED1.EXE, etc.) after they have been
-
- expanded.
-
-
-
- After expanding the files, you can install Central Console from these
-
- subdirectories (DISK1, DISK2, DISK3, DISK4, DISK5), or you can choose to
-
- create 5 diskettes and then install from those diskettes.
-
-
-
- To install Central Console from your Hard Drive:
-
- 1. Run Microsoft Windows 3.1. Choose Run from the File menu.
-
- 2. In the command box, type DISK1\SETUP.EXE
-
- 3. Choose OK to begin.
-
-
-
- To create diskettes:
-
- 1. Insert a High Density 3.5 or 5.25 diskette into your drive
-
- 2. Copy the contents of the DISK1 directory onto the diskette.
-
- Do the same for the other subdirectories DISK2, DISK3, DISK4, DISK5.
-
- 3. Label these diskettes "Intel StorageExpress Central Console Ver 1.30.A.E".
-
- Add the disk numbers to the labels (i.e., "Disk 1").
-
-
-
- You can now delete the archive files and the DISK subdirectories off of
-
- your hard drive.
-
-
-
- To install Central Console from the diskettes you created:
-
- Insert disk 1 into your drive and run SETUP.EXE from it.
-
-
-
- When you run Central Console version 1.30.A.E and connect to a StorageExpress
-
- running an earlier software version, a "Version Difference Detected" dialog
-
- will pop up. You MUST update the StorageExpress in order to use it with
-
- this version.

-
-
-
- Release notes are now kept in the file RELNOTES.HLP.
-
- The file uses Windows' online help engine, WINHELP.EXE
-
- (in the Windows directory) to display the release notes.
-
- Please check RELNOTES.HLP for the latest information.
-
-
-
- Installing Central Console will automatically install
-
- RELNOTES for you, creating a Release Notes icon in the
-
- Central Console program group.
-
-
-
- If you'd rather read the release notes before installing
-
- the software, do the following:
-
-
-
- 1) Copy RELNOTES.HLP from disk 1 of the Central Console disks
-
- to a directory on your workstation's hard disk.
-
- (For example, C:\CENTRAL)
-
-
-
- 2) Start Windows.
-
-
-
- 3) From the Windows Program Manager, select File Run.
-
-
-
- 4) At the command line, enter the following:
-
-
-
- WINHELP C:\CENTRAL\RELNOTES.HLP
-
-
-
- (if you installed RELNOTES.HLP in a different directory,
-
- use that directory name instead)
-
-
-
