  1. Demonstration version of MenuBar 2
  2.  
  3. The demonstration version is restricted to five Bars, and each Bar
  4. is limited to five Menus containing up to three Objects.  It is
  5. complete in all other respects.
  6.  
  7. Copy the !MenuBar application from the supplied disc to any
  8. directory on your hard disc.  (If you do not have a hard disc you
  9. can run MenuBar directly from a floppy disc.)  Run the program by
  10. double-clicking on the !MenuBar icon and a window appears informing
  11. you of the restrictions which apply to the demonstration version,
  12. and how you can order the full version.  Click OK.

  14. This demonstration version has not yet been tested on Risc OS 3.7
  15. running StrongARM.

  17. As a precaution, rootpaths are NOT stripped in this demo version,
  18. nor are overlays used.
  19.  
  20. Anyone who received an earlier version of MenuBar 2 will need to add
  21. the full rootnames back to their data files.  To do this, run
  22. !Convert (in the Utils directory), and drag on to it the
  23. corresponding Text file for each Data file (these files are in their
  24. respective directories in the Library directory).  Do NOT set the
  25. 'strip root' option.  Drag the resulting data file to replace the
  26. existing one.

  28. It is planned that the full version will have the above features
  29. restored and will have been tested on Risc OS 3.7 with StrongARM.
