  1.  You are stationed inside enemy lines at a captured
  2.  airfield. An urgent message is sent to you from the
  3.  observation post:-

  5.   SCRAMBLE AIRCRAFT..TWO AIRSHIPS SPOTTED..DUE WEST
  6.   WITH HEAVY FIGHTER COVER...INTERCEPT AND DESTROY.

  8.  The armourers have equipped your plane with incendiary
  9.  bullets which explode on contact. These Airships are
  10.  large, slow and easy to shoot down. However, do not let
  11.  this delude you, our reconnaissance chappy said the
  12.  flak around there was so thick you could walk on it!
  13.  *
  14.  Enemy troops are reinforcing the front line with heavy 
  15.  artillery. Aircraft have been spotted to the east of 
  16.  your airfield where they have set up a supply route to
  17.  the front line. They are currently operating with two
  18.  Cargo Planes which are heading south along a well
  19.  defended passage.

  21.  Your mission is to infiltrate enemy defences, take out
  22.  the two rotters and get back to base.

  24.  Congratulations! Not only did you thwart the enemy
  25.  bombing raid, but you also put a sizable dent in their
  26.  supply chain to the front. I’ll see you get a mention 
  27.  in dispatches home for this.

  29.  Oh by the way, your posting to the Royal Naval Air Corps
  30.  came through. Somewhere in the North Sea from what I can
  31.  gather. Looks like a tough one, if the enemy don’t get
  32.  you the Rear Admiral will. I hear he’s a real  stickler
  33.  for efficiency.
