  10. Have any of you people been bothered by automated telephone
  11. solicitations from the "Poster people"?  They call offering a job if
  12. you call their 976 number (which charges $10 to your phone bill).

  14. At the beginning of the message they tell a number (probably required
  15. by law) quickly.  I called this, and asked to be disconnected from
  16. their list, but was called again a month later.  Since I asked to be
  17. removed from the list, could be charged with harassing calls?  Any
  18. suggestions who to complain to?  I've forgotten the 976 number in
  19. question.  Would someone please tell me so I can make my complaint.

  21. BTW, I've seen large numbers of posters advertising this number, as
  22. well as (416) 661-3425, which doesn't charge, but appears to be a
  23. similar scam run by the same people.  I suggest that anyone who sees
  24. these posters remove them to discourage this useless behaviour!
