  34. I spent four years in Pittsburgh, and very few people near CMU said
  35. you'uns.  But they are not your typical Western Pennsylvanians.
  36. In the high schools in the smaller cities, it is a different story,
  37. though even there, the people who say you'uns regularly are decidedly
  38. in the minority.

  44. to watch a high school girls' basketball game in Sumter, SC, I not only
  45. heard a fair number of y'all's, but one little girl turned around and
  46. asked me, "Are you a Yankee?"
