  22. If I remember correctly, I don't think a Supreme Court judge
  23. necessarily has to have experience as a judge.  I thought
  24. one of the current Supremes or one in the not to distant 
  25. past had no experience.  I'm not even sure they must have
  26. a law background.

  28. I don't think Laurence Tribe has ever been a judge, but his 
  29. name has come up fairly often as a contender for Clinton's
  30. replacement of Blackmun.
