  32. No. The only justification one needs for feeling alienated, is to be
  33. alienated.

  35. What I think is that the jokes contribute very little to the disparity
  36. between women and men in physics. I'd guess environmental effects would
  37. be greatest, followed by barrier to entry, followed by harassment,
  38. followed by genetic differences. Well you might say that sexist jokes
  39. are a form of harassment.

  42. questions, etc.

  48. Actually, I'm as dumb as a post. But seriously folks, all I ment to say,
  49. was I don't think sexist joke telling is much of a contributor (read < 1%)
  50. to the lack of women in physics.

  53. sexist jokes?
