- Two other variations on this theme have been mentioned in alt.folklore.-
- urban in the past. One is that the rule was as quoted above, but the
- student taking the exam carried in an unnamed graduate student or
- professor in the same field. The other is that the rule was simply
- "You can bring Feynman to the exam", meaning a textbook of his; no
- mention of having to *carry* "Feynman"; and the rest is obvious.
