  18. Eugene, you can force Fractint to use the older-style 87a version
  19. of GIF files with the "gif87a=yes" command-line option.  Note, though,
  20. that GIF files saved this way cannot be restored as fractal images,
  21. because the old GIF87a standard did not include the application-specific
  22. extension block that Fractint uses to squirrel away its fractal-specific
  23. information.
