- Eugene, you can force Fractint to use the older-style 87a version
- of GIF files with the "gif87a=yes" command-line option. Note, though,
- that GIF files saved this way cannot be restored as fractal images,
- because the old GIF87a standard did not include the application-specific
- extension block that Fractint uses to squirrel away its fractal-specific
- information.
