- Long distance guess: The delay line is a device which delays the
- B&W signal while the color sig is being processed. The B&W sig
- is the brightness of the color picture. This probably got it's
- solder jarred loose.

- I may have the service manual. Send model number and I might be
- better able to direct you. Look for a component like "DL1". In
- Toshibas, I think it would be a little black "box", very narrow,
- standing on its side. About 1" high, 1.25" long.

- For the daring: wiggle it with a non conductive probe while
- watching the pix.

- Also possible, in view of the color problem - the little board
- on the end of the picture tube. Tap on that with GOOD
- insulation.
