- the differences between 'em are:

- pin 27512 27128
- 1 A15 Vpp
- 20 !CE/!PGM !CE
- 22 !OE/Vpp !OE
- 27 A14 !PGM

- The "!" stands for the low active function of the pin.

- What you have to do is to leave out pin 1 and 27 of the 27512 and tie
- them to GND (if you want to address the lowest page of the 27512, which
- is normally done). Then it will work as the smaller one did.
