- As far as I can remember, 0 stands for stars and 1 for nonstellar objects.
- I don't think there are more codes (which could tell you, for example,
- weather it's a galaxy or a planetary nebula).
- But I'm not quite sure...
- Most objects are, of course, stars. Thus, determine which code means "stellar"
- and which means "nonstellar" by taking a look in the catalogue.
- By the way, does anyone know an efficient algorithm to determine the GSC-region
- for given coordinates (R.A., Decl.) ?
