- I have just started building a Gentle Lady sailplane.
- I have finished the tail section and I need to decide
- how to connect the control surfaces.
-
- Should I use a monokote hinge or mylar slots?
-
- Also, I have heard that the wing on the GL can be weak.
- The plans include an additional instructions which show how to
- increase wing strength by adding more balsa strip to the
- first 6 foils on top of the existing bass wood main spar.
-
- Are there any other spots that need strength on the GL.
- (I already added small triangular braces to the apex of
- the LE of the stab.)
-
- Thanks
