- I have a friends car that I am going to work on over thanksgiving break.
- I have not seen the car and will not until thanksgiving break. They
- say that initially there was noise and problems when shifting gears.
- Eventually they began to "lose" the pedal until now it is at the floor.
- they say the car is a ford but don't even know what model it is. My guess
- is its some clutch that is hydraulically activated... The cyllinder that
- is responsible for transferring the force along has leaked out. Or possibly
- it is cable activated, the cable started slipping from its attachement and
- is now just hanging loose not able to transfer any force. Any other guesses?
