  11. I have a friends car that I am going to work on over thanksgiving break. 
  12. I have not seen the car and will not until thanksgiving break.  They
  13. say that initially there was noise and problems when shifting gears.
  14. Eventually they began to "lose" the pedal until now it is at the floor.
  15. they say the car is a ford but don't even know what model it is.  My guess
  16. is its some clutch that is hydraulically activated...  The cyllinder that
  17. is responsible for transferring the force along has leaked out.  Or possibly
  18. it is cable activated, the cable started slipping from its attachement and
  19. is now just hanging loose not able to transfer any force.  Any other guesses?
