- I recently bought an 82 Ford Escort with various minor problems. One of
- these problems is that the fuel gauge does not work correctly. If the
- tank is full, the gauge works. But once you get to half a tank, the
- gauge moves right down to empty. Since I just bought this car, I have no
- idea how far I can go on one tank (I dont want to find out the hard
- way). Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to fix this
- problem?
