  11. I recently bought an 82 Ford Escort with various minor problems. One of
  12. these problems is that the fuel gauge does not work correctly. If the
  13. tank is full, the gauge works. But once you get to half a tank, the
  14. gauge moves right down to empty. Since I just bought this car, I have no
  15. idea how far I can go on one tank (I dont want to find out the hard
  16. way). Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to fix this
  17. problem?
