  12. My first mistake was buying this thing.  It was cold that morning and
  13. the whole world was frozen in motion....including my Swedish Brick!  I
  14. thought maybe the diesel engine was going to be reliable, tiny did I
  15. know.  You can't check your sparkplugs on a diesel, you can't check
  16. your whatever on a diesel.  I understand the basic principal of a
  17. diesel engine, however troubleshooting it is a nightmare.

  19. Symptoms:  Turn key on wait for glowplug light to go out and then try
  20. to start engine.  It cranks at the normal speed but no ignition.  I
  21. checked the power strip to all of the glow plugs and the test light is
  22. alive.  I did not check each individual plug as it is a major pain and
  23. I checked them a few months ago.  Still even with a few bad glow plugs
  24. the engine should start.  When I am cranking the engine it doesn't
  25. even try to start.  Yes, it has fuel in the tank.  I don't know how to
  26. proceed troubleshooting this any further. What should I do next?
