  17. I've got an '89 Honda Civic LX which this weekend started doing
  18. something odd - when starting it, it'll catch, run for a second or so
  19. and then immediately die.  It doesn't chug, chug, chug, and then die,
  20. it just dies, sort of like if I were spraying Starting fluid in there
  21. - as soon as it burns the bit you sprayed in there, and it isn't
  22. getting gas or whatever, it just dies.

  24. Anyway, it hasn't been doing it consistently although each time it's
  25. happened, it's been sitting for sometime (overnight for instance).
  26. Otherwise it seems fine - I drove back from Dallas to Austin Sunday
  27. night with no problems.

  29. Any ideas?

  31. If no ideas, any ideas on how to handle this with the dealer or other
  32. mechanic?  Should I wait until it happens every morning before taking
  33. it in?
