- I realize that this is probably a many time discussed item.
- However, I do not know the answer. Has anyone used the dot-5,
- synthetic brake fluid in a Jaguar? I am rebuilding a 1976 XJ-S
- that has been abandonded and disassembled for 5 years. After
- repainting under the bonnet I would hate to discover a brake
- fluid leak by finding the pool of stripped British Racing Green
- paint on the garage floor. The hopefully obvious solution
- is to use the dot-5 fluid that is relatively harmless to paint.
-
- Any thoughts or experiences?
