  31. the article i read on the new porsche system said that for a true
  32. perfomance driver, it sucked! not that it did not do what Porsche
  33. designed it to do, but unfortunately, that was an attempt at keeping
  34. themselves from being sued by idiots who would not learn to drive the 
  35. rear engined monsters before(or during or after) purchasing one, and
  36. apparently(the article goes) someone sued, and won, that because the
  37. porsche did something different than what is considered "normal"
  38. that the car was at fault, and not the peckerhead at the wheel who
  39. didnt' bother to learn how his car was SUPPOSED to be driven and
  40. how it handled BEFORE wrapping it around a tree...so..Porsche designed
  41. into their new AWD..whatever the call it.system so that it would 
  42. reduce the understeer(is that right??..i can't ever keep the two 
  43. straight...)..well..at any rate..the mag said that,even though it
  44. cannot be turned off, that the system is incompatable with the 
  45. braking system so that the differentials release completely upon
  46. braking..so..they took it out, tossed it into the turns like a 
  47. normal porsche, only they lightly touched the brakes, to turn off
  48. the differentials, and they said it drove like a REAL 911 improved..
  49. so..they didn't agree with the all wheel drive setup for race tracking
  50. it..but i dunno about tracktion, etc....depends on what YOU want with
  51. it, i suppose....

  53. i know virtually nothing, except i can't see why more of them aren't on
  54. the road!..they have the power, the all wheel drive..good looks..i dunno..
