- Actually, Stealth Technologies makes an interface that connects S/PDIF
- and AES/EBU standard digital I/O to the DSP port for $395. It is usually

- Sound Designer and Pro Tools on the Mac are the packages for digital
- editing and mastering most commonly used by professionals, I've found.
- Both are made by DigiDesign. Actually, Sound Designer is a subset of
- ProTools and is more of a sample editor, though you can get a DAT inter-
- face separately, I believe. ProTools includes a NuBus card for the digital
- interface and a significant amount of software. Price is pretty steep,
- but I don't remember well enough to hazard a quote. Ask on comp.music.

- interfaces or editting/mastering software.
