The best way to do (only) is to make a circle cutting or get one for your router.
It is very simple, you just need a pivot to swing the router around, remember that thing called a compass?? Just drill a pivot hole in the workpiece and have an adjustable pin on the router( hole and pin the same size of course)
using this method you can recess the drivers. it is the only sane way.
