  16. I personally suggest that taz@momad.UUCP write a letter to the poster
  17. of said pictures, informing him of the possibly illegal nature of
  18. his pictures, then "rm" (or the equivalent) them from his news spool
  19. files, or cancel them, or however he/she deals with posts that are
  20. against his/her conscience.

  22. Otherwise, I think the idea that hundreds of users, universities, and
  23. companies will be hauled into court for distributing a small subset
  24. of data that MIGHT be pornographic, especially when it is a small
  25. subset of the megs and megs of data being passed every day, is
  26. quite absurd.

  28. I personally think that some of a.b.p.erotic's pictures are pleasing
  29. and some it is downright nauseating, but I cannot advocate the removal
  30. of anything on it without someone else fairly recommending that 
  31. soc.religion.christian or alt.irc or even comp.binaries.mac be removed
  32. whenever something offensive passes through.
