- Don't bet Gibson is on any net. _Neuromancer_ was written on a manual type
- writer. At the time Gibson only put the word "modem" in the book because he
- thought it sounded neat--he didn't know what it was. I understand he now has
- a computer of some sort but he's never been a computer afficionado.
