  10. Greetings and felicitations to all from beautiful downtown Newark, New 
  11. Jersey. I'm kinda new at this so I'll just introduce myself and move on.
  12. I am 
  13. the Chief of Communications for the Newark Fire Dept. and have been on
  14. the 
  15. job for 20 years. I started as a dispatcher (a.k.a. Fire Alarm Operator)
  16. and 
  17. worked my way up through the ranks via promotional exams. My hobbies
  18. include 
  19. computing, emergency videography, cooking and rock music. There are a
  20. few 
  21. others too. Are there any other professional communications types out
  22. there? 
  23. If so, why not drop a line. Incidentally, I've been watching the
  24. "Emergency" 
  25. trivia quiz going on here and found it very interesting. Here's another
  26. one; 
  27. does anyone remember a show called "Rescue 8?" If so, what were the 2
  28. main 
  29. character's first names and what were their real names?
