- frequency (50Hz vs 60Hz), not because it "converts AC to DC" (which it
- does not). Your "electronic" clock may or may not work properly,
- depending upon whether or not it was designed to handle the variation
- in line frequency, or if it was designed to ignore line frequency
- altogether.
