  13. We recently replaced our old baby monitor (a Gerry) with a Sony.  The
  14. Gerry was only fair, as it always had a 60hz buzz in the background,
  15. which is very annoying.  The plug-in adapter cord finally broke after
  16. 4 years (2nd kid) so we replaced it.  This Sony has crystal clear
  17. reception, BUT is on the same frequency as the cordless phone (Sony
  18. also) so it receives considerable interference whenever the phone
  19. is in use.  I would NEVER have thought they would put two such devices
  20. on the same frequency - something to think about.  (Yes, there is
  21. a tiny warning on the box).
