Joe-
The factory tint in the Dodge van is internal to the glass so it can't be
scrapped off. After market tints are films applied to the interior of the
window like a decal using a squeege and if not done right can get air
bubbles. One caution, check with the department of motor vehicles about
how dark the tint can legally be or it won't pass inspection.
