- CUBA U.N. COMMITTEE CALL FOR AN
- INTERNATIONAL DAY OF SOLIDARITY
- WITH THE PEOPLE OF CUBA
-
- UNITED NATIONS RALLY & VIGIL
-
- TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1992
- 5:00 P.M.
- RALPH BUNCHE PARK
- 43RD STREET & FIRST AVENUE
-
- On Tuesday, November 24th, Cuba will be addressing the General
- Assembly of the United Nations about the continued U.S. embargo
- against the people of Cuba.
-
- The passage of the Torricelli Bill has generated an
- international outcry against U.S. intervention in the internal
- affairs of other nations. Here in the U.S. we need to make a clear
- statement in opposition to the starvation diplomacy embodied in the
- "Cuban Democracy" Act which outgoing President Bush signed into
- law. We also need to let the incoming Clinton-Gore administration
- know that we will continue and increase our efforts in support of
- the inalienable right of the Cuban people to self-determination,
- national sovereignty and to determine their own destiny.
-
- COME AND JOIN YOUR VOICE TO THOSE OF THE GROWING MOVEMENT IN
- SUPPORT OF THE PEOPLE OF CUBA!
-
- Leaflets will be available at:
- Casa De Las Americas
- 104 West 14th Street
- Corner of 6th Avenue,
- Manhattan (212) 675-2584 as of Wednesday, November 11, 1992
