- PNP WINS ELECTIONS IN PUERTO RICO

- In addition to having won the governorship, the New
- Progressive Party (PNP) will control the House of Representatives
- and the Senate in Puerto Rico following the November 3 elections.
- The PNP defeated the Popular Democratic Party (PPD) will send
- only 14 representatives and six senators to Puerto Rico's
- legislature. The Puerto Rican Independence Party (PIP) will have
