  27. PNP WINS ELECTIONS IN PUERTO RICO

  29. In addition to having won the governorship, the New
  30. Progressive Party (PNP) will control the House of Representatives
  31. and the Senate in Puerto Rico following the November 3 elections.
  32. The PNP defeated the Popular Democratic Party (PPD) will send
  33. only 14 representatives and six senators to Puerto Rico's
  34. legislature.  The Puerto Rican Independence Party (PIP) will have
