  15. A quick note on this.  See The Nation, 16/23 July, 1988, "George
  16. Bush, CIA Operative" by Joseph McBride and his "Where was George?
  17. (cont.)", in the August 13/20 1988 issue.
  18.   Some remarks:
  19.   (a)  the Nation never carried any follow-up stories on this that I
  20.         saw
  21.   (b)  the account on ACTIV-L dated 15 Oct was quite inaccurate:  the
  22. "George Bush" [not "George H. Bush", as claimed] noted in Hoover's
  23. memo was NOT in Dallas, but was in Miami the day after the
  24. assassination.  These alternations (and others) are an invention of
  25. the writer of the ACTIV-L posting.
  26.        I enjoy tuning in to ACTIV-L, which carried a lot of great
  27. material.  It disappoints me when I see such nonsense.
