  14. Binutils running on two different hosts should produce identical results
  15. when producing object files for the same target.

  17. Any differences that you find are bugs.  (There are a few known bugs
  18. in the bottom bits of floating point constants generated by gcc,
  19. because it uses the hosts's "atod" which differs on various host
  20. systems.  This does not apply to binutils or gas though, only to gcc.)
