- Apart from throwing OLIT away and starting again! :-) What are the
- future enhancements you talk of?
-
- Will there be:
- - Good support for C++?
- - A more simple API (Xtintrinsics is an overly complicated, poorly
- implemented 'O-O' based system).
- - Runtime ability to display Motif (e.g. MoOLIT like?) :-)
-
- If Sun are so interested in implementing object-orientated systems, I
- do not have much confidence in them using OLIT to provide a good o-o paradigm!
- That is, without the need to rewrite the whole thing. Though I'm willing
- to be convinced! :-)
-
- On the whole I still think asking people to move to OLIT is a bad
- idea. When I do become efficient using it, I think I would still need to
- allocate more development time in doing the same thing as in XView. :-(
